Dr. Zanaboni completed medical school at the University of Missouri before moving to Philadelphia for residency and Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Temple University Hospital. She spent time as the Assistant Director of Emergency Ultrasound at a large academic center before venturing into community practice for two years. Currently, she is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis with an active role within the Emergency Ultrasound Division.
Through the years, Dr. Zanaboni has cultivated an interest in ultrasound education and have had experience speaking on a variety of ultrasound topics at the local, national, and international levels. She has worked to promote the expanding use of point of care ultrasound to improve patient care while serving on the board of the Emergency Ultrasound Section of AAEM, which she currently chairs.
